Co-owner of Renew Health

Doctor of Physical Therapy, Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist

Dr. Alyssa's extensive experience

has equipped her with a robust orthopelvic foundation, allowing her to bridge the gap between pelvic health and performance based movement. She has a

knack for treating complex pelvic floor conditions, all while delivering trauma-informed care. She is passionate about

educating women on how to safely return to meaningful activities and

preventing small issues from becoming long-term limitations.

Beyond treating pain and dysfunction,

Dr. Alyssa loves working with performance-driven individuals—especially those who prioritize strength for life. Whether it’s

lifting kids with confidence, chasing powerlifting PRs, or embracing strength training to be stronger than generations before, she empowers her clients to

DR. BRIANNA ALMEIDA, PT, DPT, PCES

Co-owner of Renew Health

Doctor of Physical Therapy, Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist

Dr. Brianna has served as a women’s health care provider for numerous years. She finds fulfillment in supporting women to maintain an active lifestyle during their pregnancy and postpartum periods.

In addition to her expertise in pelvic health, Dr. Brianna has a highly refined skill in assessing and treating individuals with persistent low back pain and complex pain cases—especially those who feel like they’ve "tried everything" without success. She takes a whole-body approach to care, identifying the root cause of pain rather than simply treating symptoms, allowing her patients to experience lasting relief and restored function.

Prior to establishing her private practice, she collaborated with a Urogynecology team at a nearby hospital-based clinic. Dr. Bree is dedicated to empowering individuals to embrace life to its fullest potential.

She aims to address the underlying cause of your symptoms rather than merely alleviating them.

DR. SARA EKMALIAN, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy, Speciality in Pelvic Health

Dr. Sara is well-versed in the evaluation and treatment of a wide variety of pelvic health and orthopedic conditions, bringing a client-centered approach and a high level of sensitivity to her treatment. As both a hypermobility-informed clinician and a hypermobile PT herself, she has a unique understanding of the challenges that individuals with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), joint instability, and chronic musculoskeletal pain may face. She is passionate about helping hypermobile clients navigate their strength, stability, and movement goals with tailored, evidence-based care.

Beyond her professional expertise, Dr. Sara is passionate about maintaining an active and balanced lifestyle. She loves to express herself through dance, explore nature on hiking trails, and challenge herself with rock climbing. Her personal commitment to prioritizing health and wellness aligns perfectly with Renew Health's philosophy of holistic care.

Renew Health Mission and Vision

Mission

At Renew Health, our mission is to create a positive change in the community by providing a new standard of care and greater access for women. We help women of all ages mitigate symptoms of pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, constipation, pelvic organ prolapse, low back pain, etc. in order to live healthy and active lifestyles. We prepare women for successful labor and delivery as well as providing the much needed postpartum care that is often ignored in traditional medical models. We accomplish this with our one-on-one treatment that is focused on the whole individual, continuous patient education, and by creating a healing environment that fosters trust, compassion, and the ability to be proactive in healthcare.

Vision

Our vision is to be the face of women’s healthcare in Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut, where passionate clinicians and clients can be proactive in their care.

Our Core Values

Respect

We respect the inherent dignity and rights of all individuals. We foster a connection with our patients that includes trust, compassion, and respect.

Community

We believe in the power of community. By creating a space where individuals feel heard, valued, and understood, we strive to empower our community to achieve optimal pelvic health and break down barriers that limit access to care.

Ownership

By promoting a sense of agency and responsibility, we aim to inspire lasting positive changes that extend beyond the treatment room. Our mission is to facilitate a transformative experience where individuals actively engage in their own healing process, embracing a sense of ownership over their pelvic health and overall quality of life.

Clinical Honesty

We uphold the highest standards in our practice when it comes to ethical decision making, implementing best practice, and guiding patients in the best direction to reach their goals. Our patients receive clarity on how to achieve maximal results based on what they need, not what insurance dictates.

Continuous Improvement

We are dedicated to advancing the standard of care by fostering a culture of ongoing learning, innovation, and refinement. Our docs are dedicated to staying at the forefront of pelvic health research and trailblazing pelvic health in the Western MA and Northern CT regions. Our providers are dedicated to mentoring other pelvic health therapists, both locally and across the United States.

Leaders in Pelvic Health

At Renew Health, we are committed to advancing the field of pelvic floor physical therapy through both exceptional patient care and professional education. We are proud to provide the pelvic health lecture at a local DPT program, sharing our expertise with other healthcare professionals and staying at the forefront of the latest research and techniques.
